Welcome to Pag, the fifth largest island on the Croatian coast. With its amazing moon-like landscape configuration and rocky relief covered with mediterranean macchia, it has through the past captured the attention of many.But the island not only rocks because of its rocks, but is foremost famous for the tastiest sheep milk cheese you can get in Croatia – Paški sir. It is said that its unique flavor comes from the salt blown grass and sage that the sheep eat here.
Pag is also known for its award winning and unique needle handmade Pag lace (Paška čipka – a great souvenir to take back home) and salt production facilities – Paška Solana and its authentical basins for salt production in which the salt is produced by draining the sea water, which, along with great food and shiny, happy and friendly people make it a well-known tourist destination.
You can have it all on Pag, whether you want to party or relax, dine and wine, take a boat trip, shop for souvenirs, lay on the beach and suntan, hike and explore… Only your imagination is the limit!
